What are wire-to-wire connectors?
By Forinfos - 25/12/2025 - 0 comments
A wire-to-wire connector is a device, usually made of plastic, that is used to join electrical circuits together by creating a joint between two sections of wire. This serves to extend the flow of electricity wherever needed.
A wire-to-wire connector works by fitting sections of wire into two holders, one larger than the other. The section of wire fitted into the smaller holder is then simply inserted in the larger holder, creating contact between the wires and, in turn, a complete circuit. Connectors also exist to join wire to electric terminals, which serve the purpose of breaking the flow of electricity in a circuit.
