Why do some wives dress their husbands?

Wives that dress their husbands often do so to have some control over their clothing. This could be due to the fact that the husbands need help in picking stylish clothing or because the wives want a sense of control over their husbands' lives.

A study done by Style Pilot found that two-thirds of men that were surveyed had their clothing picked out for them by their partner or wife. Additionally, half of those surveyed reported that their spouse helps them to dress in some way, such as adjusting their clothing or tying their tie or bow tie for them.
