Craig Wayne Boyd won the seventh season of "The Voice," which was held in 2014. He is a country singer from Nashville and was proclaimed the winner under the team of Blake Shelton.
Boyd won the title against Matt McAndrew and sang his winning song, "My Baby's Got a Smile on Her Face," written by Stephanie Jones and Mark Marchetti. Before the announcement of the results, Boyd performed "Sweet Home Alabama" with Lynyrd Skynyrd. He is the third singer with country music leanings to win "The Voice," along with Cassadee Pope and Danielle Bradbery. Boyd sang "The Whiskey Ain't Workin" by Marty Stuart and Travis Tritt as his piece for the blind auditions.
