The 2014 winners of the "Amazing Race" were Amy DeJong and Maya Warren, and Laura Pierson and Tyler Adams. DeJong and Warren won the 24th season on June 22, 2014, and Pierson and Adams won the 25th season on Dec. 6, 2014.

"The Amazing Race" premiered on Sept. 5, 2001, and has aired 26 seasons as of June 2015. The show involves contestants traveling around the world, visiting landmarks and completing challenges to win the grand prize of $1 million. "The Amazing Race" has received much critical acclaim, winning the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program 10 out of 12 times.
