What is wrist piercing?
By Forinfos - 25/06/2025 - 0 comments
A wrist piercing is a surface piercing, typically done with a surface bar, on the inside of the forearm close to the wrist. A wrist piercing may be done slightly below the actual wrist to minimize movement and the chance of rejection.
Wrist piercings are most successful with surface bars, but they may also be done with dermal anchors. Wrist piercings must be kept clean and moved as little as possible during the healing period, which can take several weeks or months. Proper aftercare is critical and involves soaking the piercing in a saltwater solution and avoiding any bodies of water such as pools, lakes or bathtubs until the piercing has healed.
