Mark Twain wrote "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn." The book, first published in the United States in February 1885, is considered one of the great American novels.

"The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" describes the travels of a young boy along the Mississippi River in the mid-1800s, often with his friend Tom Sawyer. The book is heralded for its approach to tough subjects such as racism. Born as Samuel Clemens in 1835 in Missouri, Mark Twain authored other books, such as "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" and "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court." Twain died in 1910 in Redding, Conn.
