Who wrote the poem "God Saw You Getting Tired"?

The true author of the poem "God Saw You Getting Tired" is unknown. Several authors claim ownership, including Jenny Frey, Jake Cannon, Jessica DeFilippo and Frances M. Coelho. There is extensive argument about the true authorship.

Reportedly published in 1974 in memory of Estella Sibel by her daughter and granddaughter, Betty and Karen, the poem was printed without an author. In 1986, Coelho's daughter claims that her mother published the poem upon the loss of her husband. Additionally, Frey's neighbor claims to have watched Frey write the poem in 1998. Today the copyright is owned by Coelho's daughter, though unfortunately copyright registration does not indicate actual authorship.
