Is 700 a good credit score?
By Forinfos - 31/07/2025 - 0 comments
As of 2014, a credit score of 700 ranges from just above fair to good, depending on the scoring model used. Most credit-scoring models use a range of 300 to 900.
Generally, a credit score of 599 or lower equals bad credit, and a score of 750 or higher equals excellent credit. A credit score helps determine a borrower's level of risk and ability to repay loans. The higher a person's credit score, the more options he has, including higher credit limits and lower interest rates. While credit-scoring models are fairly static, different creditors use various interpretations of credit scores and follow different rules regarding lending practices.
