The liqueur itself is a blend of blackberries, raspberries, black currant and XO cognac. It is made from a three-step process in which the fruit is first infused in French spirits and then infused again several weeks later. The fruit is then mixed with fruit extracts, cognac and other flavorings before being blended together.

It is presented in a distinctive bottle with a dark reddish-purple color and gold-colored trim on a crown-shaped cap and logo. The trim also borders the company name on the front of the bottle.
