As of August 2015, actress Barbara Hale is living and is 93 years old. Born April 18, 1922, in DeKalb, Illinois, Hale is best known for her portrayal of Della Street on the "Perry Mason" television series and subsequent movies.

Prior to playing Della Street, Hale had several movie roles, including the leading role in the movie "Lorna Doone." Her final appearance on the screen was in the year 2000 in a biographical documentary about long-time co-star Raymond Burr.

Hale married actor Bill Williams in 1946, and the two were married until his death in 1992. The couple had two daughters, Jodi and Juanita Katt, and one son, actor William Katt.
