What is in a bedbug spray?
By Forinfos - 04/09/2025 - 0 comments
Bedbug sprays are based on insecticides, with the most common active ingredients being pyrethroids or pyrethrins. These are highly flammable, powerful insecticides that must be handled carefully and used only in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Misuse of pesticides to eradicate bedbugs is incredibly dangerous and may lead to serious respiratory problems and other adverse reactions in people who are exposed to the pesticides. In addition, using the wrong type or amount of a pesticide to treat a bedbug infestation may lead to the bugs developing a resistance to the pesticide, making the infestation much harder to remove using over-the-counter treatments.
