How big are Alaskan Huskies when they are born?

Alaskan Huskies are a category of working dog, so multiple breeds and mixtures of breeds may be used in that capacity and still be considered an Alaskan Husky. As such, there is no standard size for Alaskan Husky puppies, as all breeds differ in growth rate and size at birth.
While Alaskan Huskies are a category rather than a breed of dog, Siberian Huskies are a true breed and are often used directly as, or bred with other dogs to produce, Alaskan Huskies. At birth, Siberian Huskies weigh 11 to 16 ounces. Fully grown Alaskan Huskies are usually between 35 and 60 pounds, whereas purebred Siberians weigh slightly more, between 37 and 66 pounds.
