What do you call a chocolate Lab/Rottweiler mix?

A Labrador retriever and Rottweiler mix is called a labrottie, according to Dog Breed Info Center. Labrottie breed characteristics can be any combination of the Labrador and the Rottweiler traits.

The labrottie is recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club, the Designer Dogs Kennel Club, the International Designer Canine Registry and the Designer Breed Registry. The mix also is known by the Designer Breed Registry as the labweiler. The American Kennel Club doesn't recognize mixed-breed, or designer, dogs. Therefore, the labrottie doesn't show up on its listing of breeds. While the terms are unrecognized by any club or registry, some breeders may refer to this crossing as a rottador or rottwador.
