What is a husky rottweiler mix called?

A dog with one husky parent and one Rottweiler parent is called a "Rottsky." The Designer Breed Registry and the International Designer Canine Registry both recognize this mixed breed.

Designer dogs, such as Rottskys, differ from "mutts" or regular mixed breeds in that they are recognized by breeding associations. A designer dog must be the product of breeding between two purebred dogs. The goal is to produce a puppy with the best characteristics of its parents, but fewer of the faults. Breeding designer dogs is also a way to reduce the occurrence of medical issues common to either breed.
