Can I take aspirin and ibuprofen at the same time?

There is some evidence that spreading doses apart possibly helps prevent the drug interaction. Ibuprofen should be taken 8 hours before, or 30 minutes after, aspirin. However, patients should not make changes to their medications without discussing the situation with their physicians.
