Can you freeze food in Tupperware?

Certain foods, such as liquids, casseroles and uncooked meat, can be frozen in Tupperware containers. According to Tupperware, the only foods the company does not recommend freezing are uncooked eggs, canned food, salads, mayonnaise and creamy sauces.

Tupperware containers are airtight, resistant to low temperatures and durable, which prevents freezer burn. Tupperware recommends freezing food as quickly as possible to further prevent the build-up of ice crystals.

These containers come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, which can be used to store food in the refrigerator or freezer and then reheat in a microwave later on. Cleanup is simple as containers are dishwasher-safe.
