Where can you find an ideal height weight chart for children?

As of 2015, an ideal height and weight chart can be found at Merck Manuals and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Both the CDC and Merck Manuals use charts with age on the x-axis, and height, or weight, on the y-axis. All charts contain bands representing different percentiles.
The CDC produces two different charts, recommending the chart with bands of 5th, 10th, 25th, 50th, 75th, 90th and 95th percentiles for most uses. A separate chart with outer bands of the 3rd and 97th percentiles is available for applications that require a wider distribution.
The 90th percentile means the individual is taller or heavier than 90 percent of children of the same age.
