As of 2015, GoArmy.com and MilitaryRates.com list pay scales for commissioned and non-commissioned officers, as well as for enlisted personnel currently on active duty. Pay scales vary by the amount of benefits and allowances received during active duty.

GoArmy.com covers base salaries for all enlisted personnel currently serving in the regular Army, National Guard or Army Reserves. MilitaryRates.com provides pay scales for all four branches of the military. Every base salary, including bonuses and allowances, serves as an indicator for officers and enlisted personnel’s degree of responsibility. Each branch of the military offers compensation for housing, military clothing, nutrition assistance and child care. Although rank determines base salary in all four military branches, the level of pay based on rank remains the same for each branch.
