What can you see with Google Sky?

Google Sky is a comprehensive, interactive way to browse the celestial objects, such as stars, constellations, galaxies, planets and moons. Users can peruse the collection of data freely or search for nebulae, constellations or specific stars or planets by name or coordinates.

Google Sky also offers alternative ways to see the universe, including an infrared view, a microwave view that shows the universe as it was 380,000 years after the big bang, and a historical view, which displays historical maps of the sky.

Google has teamed up with observatories around the world to collect the available data from various sky surveys and satellites, including the famous Hubble Space Telescope.
