You can take Tylenol while pregnant, according to WebMD. The active ingredient in Tylenol, acetaminophen, is safe to take while pregnant as long as the dosing instructions on the package are followed.
WebMD also advises that both regular Tylenol and Tylenol Cold can be taken during pregnancy. According to Dr. Roger Harms, even though Tylenol is generally safe for pregnant women, they should consult their health care providers before starting the medication. Dr. Harms states that women can attempt to prevent headaches by avoiding headache triggers, managing stress, drinking ample fluids, adhering to a regular sleep schedule and including physical activity in their daily routines.
