Can you use a flash drive on the new Xbox 360 as a memory card?

A USB flash drive can be used to store up to 32 gigabytes of content for the Xbox 360. SanDisk manufactures pre-formatted eight- and 16-gigabyte flash drives, according to the Xbox website. Users can also purchase a non-formatted flash drive and configure it to work as a USB storage device.
USB flash drives allow you to save games or your gamertag and download the information to another console. This is useful if you get another Xbox or if you just want to play on someone else’s console. For the Xbox 360 or Xbox One, you can also save your information in the cloud and transfer the information to any console.
