A company named King created Candy Crush Saga. The game came out on Facebook in April 2012 and premiered on the Windows Mobile operating system in December 2014.

King is the largest game developer on Facebook, as of February 2015. It was founded in 2003 and is located in London, England.

Candy Crush Saga requires people to switch and match puzzle pieces to work through hundreds of levels. The game can be played alone, or players can challenge others. King has also produced other games. Puzzle Bobble, Bubble Witch Saga and Pepper Panic Saga are some of its other titles.
