What credit cards do Valero stations take?

The more than 5,600 Valero stations in the United States accept the Valero-branded credit card. The other credit cards accepted vary by store, but most accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Gift cards and fuel cards are also accepted at the pump.

As of March 2015, customers can save up to 8 cents per gallon of gas by using a Valero credit card for fuel purchases. Rebates are automatically applied each month. Some stations implement different prices for cash and credit card fuel purchases. The difference in pricing may wipe out any savings gained from using a Valero card.
