What is a Cub Scout leader called?
By Forinfos - 14/05/2025 - 0 comments
The primary leader of a Cub Scout pack is known as the den leader. They have an identifying patch on the left sleeve of their uniforms featuring a wolf's head, a fleur de lis and their title.
As of 2014, to work as a den leader, a person must be at least 21 years old and possess good leadership skills. The den leader must then be recommended by the Cubmaster and the parents or guardians of the scouts of the pack. The final step is approval by the local pack committee and registration with the national Boy Scouts of America organization.
