Old Bridge Township Raceway Park first opened in July 1965. Founded by Vincent and Louis Napoliello and originally known as Madison Township Raceway Park, Raceway Park hosts many drag racing and motocross events each year from February through December.
Though it originally covered 308 acres and featured a single quarter-mile dragstrip, Raceway Park has since grown to over 500 acres in size and features multiple tracks that support a variety of drag racing, motorcross and competition go kart racing events as of 2015. As New Jersey's premier motorsports park, Raceway Park has a 30,000 spectator capacity and is officially sanctioned by the National Hot Rod Association.
