What eats seahorses?

Seahorses are eaten by birds, crabs, fish and other sea creatures, but are not a preferred food by many predators because they are primarily made of bones and skin. In order to avoid being eaten, seahorses will change colors to match their surroundings, which helps them disappear and hide from any predators that are pursuing them.
With over 40 different species in the world, seahorses are the slowest fish in the world and can come in all different shapes and sizes. Seahorses consume up to 3,000 tiny sea creatures each day, and do so by swallowing them whole through their tiny straw-like snout, rather than chewing their food first like other marine mammals.
