The standard 2015 Fiat 500 Abarth has a four-cylinder, 1.4-liter 1-volt MultiAir Turbo engine. The engine has 160 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque.
The car comes with a heavy duty five-speed manual transmission, although a heavy-duty six-speed automatic transmission is also available. It has a powertrain control module, which operates in sport mode, that maximizes power and torque. Another feature in sport mode, the Torque Transfer Control system, distributes that torque and adjusts degrees of differential locking based on the current conditions. Other features of the car include dual exhaust systems, dual intercoolers and a turbo boost gauge.
