Everclear is a brand of alcohol made of pure grain and produced by David Sherman Corporation. wo strengths are available for this clear alcohol: 75.5 percent, or 151 proof, and 95 percent, or 190 proof ethanol, with the latter more widely available.

Due to its high alcohol concentration, Everclear is illegal to sell or buy in several U.S. states as of 2015, as well as outside of the country. Everclear has a very strong "battery acid" taste. Because it is most frequently used in mixed drinks such as Jungle Juice, many people do not realize just how alcoholic their mixed drink actually is. This sometimes leads to dangerous over-consumption of the alcohol.
