Why does your forehead itch?
By Forinfos - 03/01/2026 - 0 comments
There are several conditions that can cause the forehead to itch including dry skin, skin irritation and dermatitis. Other symptoms present often determine what is causing the itching.
If the forehead is flaking, but is not red, it is likely the problem is caused by dry skin. If the itching is accompanied by other symptoms such as shortness of breath, wheezing, swelling of the face or lips or swelling of the tongue, it can be caused by an allergic reaction. In this instance, people should seek immediate medical attention. If the itching does not go away, a doctor can properly diagnose the reason for an itchy forehead.
