What frequency does Verizon use?
By Forinfos - 08/09/2025 - 0 comments
Verizon uses frequencies of 850 megahertz, 1,900 megahertz, 700 megahertz and 1,700/2,100 megahertz. The last two frequencies are used to offer 4G network services, while the first two are used for 2G, 3G and voice communication services.
Verizon enjoys many advantages from operating with multiple frequencies. For instance, the 850 megahertz and 1,900 megahertz frequency bands employ older and cheaper technology. As such, Verizon uses them in serving a larger, less demanding and populated geographical area. To cater to areas that have high population densities while providing faster data connections, Verizon uses the 700 megahertz and 1,700/2,100 megahertz frequency bands.
