How do you glue wood to concrete?

To glue wood to concrete, load construction adhesive into a caulking gun and line the underside portion of the wood with the glue. To make the glue stick better, free the wood and concrete of loose paint, clean them and dry them.
When using construction adhesive, allow the adhesive to set before pressing the wood into the desired place on the concrete. Many builders prefer to use an additional fastener in conjunction with a construction adhesive to ensure the boards absorb vibrations and stay in place. Builders can choose from cut masonry nails or hardened concrete nails to drill the wood into the concrete after applying the construction adhesive.
