Inquilab is an Urdu language daily newspaper in India. It is available in paper format and as an e-newspaper. It has editions dedicated to Mumbai, Lucknow, Delhi, Allahabad, Kanpur, Bhagalpur, Muzafferpur, Varanasi, Aligarh, Agra, Bareilly, Meenut, Patna and Gorakhapur. It is a publication of Mid-Day Informedia.
The title of the newspaper, Inquilab, means revolution or uprising. The daily newspaper Sahafat is another Urdu language daily paper published in India. The Sahafat only has editions for Mumbai, Delhi and Lucknow. Urdu is not one of the official languages of India and has declined in use in the media since the 1980s.
