Gecko's have learned to adapt to and live in habitats such as, cold mountain slopes, forests and deserts. Gecko's can be found living in these habitats on almost any continent in the world, with the exception of Antarctica. There are a wide variety of geckos living around the world, with the majority being nocturnal and most active at night.
Some geckos are diurnal, which means they are more active during daytime hours. These geckos prey on insects and will also eat fruit and consume flower nectar in order to sustain themselves.
