By Forinfos - 28/05/2025 - 0 comments
English bulldogs have a life expectancy of eight to 10 years. Those that die of old age usually live 10 to 11 years. Cardiac disease and cancer are common causes of death in this breed.
English bulldogs tend to be inactive when indoors and need daily exercise to avoid excessive weight gain, joint problems and heart problems. They are sensitive to both cold and heat and are vulnerable to heat stroke. They are prone to breathing problems, eye infections and skin infections. According to a study by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, English bulldogs have the highest hip dysplasia rate of any dog breed.
