What is the personality of the English Bulldog?
By Forinfos - 04/07/2025 - 0 comments
Each English Bulldog has a unique personality, but most are calm, friendly and dignified. Bulldogs should not be aggressive, vicious or overly fearful, and although they can be stubborn at times, they tend to be loving towards their owners.
English Bulldogs were originally used for the sport of bull baiting, which requires the dog to bite and hold on to a bull. When dog fighting became illegal, breeders intentionally removed all traces of viciousness from the breed. Bulldogs are good family pets because of their low energy and their tendency to get along well with children, visitors and other dogs.
