By Forinfos - 18/10/2025 - 0 comments
Although different species of praying mantis have varied life spans, they generally only live up to one year. Of this year, only six months are spent as an adult.
Over 2000 species of praying mantis are found around the world, and they vary in size from 1 to 6 inches long. Praying mantises also have many different looks, including some that feature elaborate camouflage for protection. Mantises can be kept as pets and do not take up much room, needing only a small enclosure. They are carnivores that eat other smaller insects, and they molt regularly as they grow larger.
