What does a lime tree look like?

A lime tree looks like a crowned dome with branches that angle upwards or with an arching main branch. In some species, the smaller branches sag downwards. Shimmering hairs are set in the middle of the leaves at an angle underneath the heart-shaped leaves.
The sweet, aromatic flowers on a lime tree have five petals that are white or light yellow. Five or six limes cluster on a long stalk while they grow. Lime trees attract bees because the flowers produce a sweet nectar. Aphids also enjoy lime trees; however, they suck sap out of the leaves and cause the leaves to pucker, twist and turn yellow.
