The citizenship test, also known as the civics test, is made up of ten questions. You must get six of the ten questions right in order to pass the test according to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services website.
The civics test is taken from a list of 100 questions. These questions can be found online at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services website. For the test, the proctor asks 10 questions that are taken directly from the published online list. If the test taker cannot answer at least six of the questions correctly, the individual fails the test and has one opportunity to retake the test within 60 to 90 days.
