What market does the television station WDAZ serve?

WDAZ is an American Broadcasting Company affiliate that broadcasts on Channel 8 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The station also broadcasts a signal on AM radio station 970. WDAZ's core programming is identical to its sister station out of Fargo called WDAY.

WDAZ, winner of an Edward R. Murrow award and two Upper Midwest Regional Emmy awards, has been on the air continuously since 1967. The station has undergone several format changes, however, "First News", the local morning news broadcast has been a part of the station line-up since the channel first aired. The station's news center shares updates with over 30,000 Facebook fans and also features an app that airs live newscasts.
