What is the mascot of LSU baseball?

The mascot for all Louisiana State University athletic departments is a live tiger named Mike. The college has had a live mascot since 1936, and the image of a tiger is used on most of the school's logos.

The school's mascot tiger, Mike, is the sixth tiger owned by LSU as of 2015. Mike VI was born in 2005 and lives in a large 15,000-square-foot habitat on university property.

LSU brings Mike out to the stadium before games to help rally the team and fans. Mike used to travel with LSU teams for away games, but the college stopped that practice when his cage overturned in 1970 on Airline Highway. Someone in a tiger uniform also helps raise crowd enthusiasm during games.
