What do models suggest the clouds of Jupiter are made of?

Jupiter's visible clouds, which appear white, yellow, red and brown, are composed of frozen ammonia crystals. These clouds are similar to Earth's cirrus clouds. Beneath the top layer, scientists believe there are ammonium hydro-sulfide clouds, water crystal clouds and liquid water clouds.
Within Jupiter's clouds, the temperature hovers at minus 234 degrees Fahrenheit. The winds are very strong, moving at about 400 miles per hour. They are most likely produced by extremely hot air leaving Jupiter's surface. Compared to Earth, forces are stronger at the top of the layer of clouds. Gravity is 2.4 times stronger than on Earth, and the magnetic field is 20 times greater than Earth's.
