Which movies won the most Academy Awards in 2013?

The Ang Lee-directed film, "Life of Pi," won four Academy Awards in 2013, the most for that year. Second place went to "Argo," directed by Ben Affleck, and "Les Miserables," directed by Tom Hooper.

The 85th Academy Awards, which aired on February 23, 2013, honored movies released in 2012. In addition to "Life of Pi" and "Argo," which won Best Director and Best Picture respectively, winners included "Django Unchained," "Lincoln" and "Skyfall," all of which won two Oscars. "Silver Linings Playbook" was the first film to receive nominations in all four major acting categories since 1981, though it only won one, for Jennifer Lawrence as Best Actress.
