As of 2015, Nancy Snyderman, a surgical otolaryngologist, is married to her husband Doug, and together they have three children, Kate, Rachel and Charlie. Nancy and her family live in San Francisco, California.

Nancy Snyderman was born in 1952 and grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Her grandfather and father were both physicians. Snyderman went to medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She has worked in broadcasting as a health news correspondent. She has received awards for her broadcasting career, including the Athena Award from the Partnership for Women's Health at Columbia University in 2001 and the Trailblazer Award from the American Women in Radio and Television.
