When does the new Xbox come out?

The Xbox One was released on November 22, 2013 in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and is scheduled to be released in over 25 other countries on September 4, 2014. No announcements have been made concerning the release of any other Xbox console, as of 2014.

Microsoft Studios corporate vice president Phil Spencer has tweeted that he does not expect the Xbox One to be Microsoft's last console, and EA Studios executive vice president Patrick Soderlund has speculated that a new Xbox might arrive in 2018 or 2019. Microsoft has not yet made any official statement about development or plans for a new console, however. Console life cycles generally last at least five years.
