A Nintendo event in "Pokémon FireRed" is a real-life event where the company offers a ticket, item or Pokémon as a gift. The player connects to the company using wireless equipment during the event times.

"Pokémon FireRed" has many Nintendo events associated with it. The Aurora Ticket and the Mystic Ticket were distributed during these events. Having one of the tickets allows the player to access a secret island and capture Ho-oh or Lugia.
