Value Village is owned by Tom Ellison, Leonard Green and Partners, L.P. and TPG. Tom Ellison is the son of the founder of Value Village, and Leonard Green and Partners, L.P. and TPG are private equity firms.
Thomas Ellison has headed the Value Village and Savers chain stores since 1987. Leonard Green and Partners, L.P. has invested in over 59 companies since its conception in 1989. The equity firm provides various transactions such as buyouts, capital growth investments and recapitalizations to established companies. TPG is a global private investment firm that deals with public and private investments and restructurings on a global scale.
