A passport is required for entry to Aruba. Visitors from the United States can also use a U. S. passport card for entry. The passport or passport card must be valid upon arrival and for the duration of the stay in Aruba.

Additional entry requirements for visitors include a completed embarkation and debarkation card, a valid return or onward ticket, and the necessary documents to return to the visitor's home country. Some visitors may be required to obtain a visa before entering Aruba. In some cases, migration officers may require the visitor to show proof of a valid hotel reservation, enough funds to cover the trip or proof of ownership of property in Aruba.
