How do you pay when renting a movie from a kiosk machine?

When renting movies from a movie kiosk machine, the only form of payments accepted are debit and credit cards. As of October, 2015 both Redbox and DVDExpress kiosks accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards and Debit cards with a Visa or MasterCard logo.

Redbox also accepts RedBox Card payments, a kiosk-specific form of funded account. A user can fund a Redbox Card account at Redbox.com and use the funds at any Redbox Kiosk. Neither DVDExpress nor Redbox kiosks accept cash as a form of payment. When movies are not returned by the due date, the debit or credit card used to pay for the rentail is automatically charged for another rental day.
