A Rottweiler is considered fully grown when it has reached the breed's standard height and weight. Fully grown male Rottweilers are typically 24 to 27 inches at the withers, and females are 22 to 25 inches. Adult males weigh approximately 110 pounds, while females weigh approximately 92 pounds.
Rottweilers typically gain 75 percent of their adult height by 6 months of age, coming to their full height between 1 and 2 years old. However, Rottweilers do not attain their full adult weight until they are at least 18 months old, and they sometimes still gain weight after reaching 2 years of age. Rottweiler puppies reach two-thirds of their adult weight by 6 months of age.
