How do you plant squash?

To plant squash, add fertilizer or soil amendments to the soil, and build a mound of soil 3 inches high by 18 inches wide. Place two or three plants in the mound about 4 to 6 inches apart and water immediately. Lightly mulch a couple of days after planting.
